St. Petersburg, FL is not only one of the most beautiful cities in Florida, but it is also the city I grew up in. I definitely never realized how many photo ops the city has to offer until I moved away. Now, every time I visit home, I visit these cute spots for a quick photo shoot and I think you'll find them just as Instagram worthy as I do.

1. The Vinoy

The Vinoy is one of the most beautiful hotels in downtown St. Pete with its recognizable pink exterior. It's elegant and vintage at the same time. The front has a grand entry for those over the top photos you want to get all dressed up in. If you enter the building and take a left, exit the far door and you'll find yourself in a beautiful quiet garden where several ceremonies are held. If you're more interested in the summer time vibes, head over to the pool. The Vinoy's pool has a view of the bay along with a photo worthy waterfall. I promise it won't disappoint.

2. Vinoy Park

Outside the lovely hotel, there are two separate parks, one of which includes a retro piece of artwork surrounded by the bay while the other has several statues and a floral arch. It's beautiful no matter what direction you walk.

3. Beach Drive

Beach Drive has several different restaurants and sweet spots to stop at. All of which are kept clean and rich looking. You'll have everyone thinking you live at the height of luxury in any of these places.

4. Sundial

Growing up, this was known as "BayWalk", but since has gone under construction and gained the new name "Sundial". It is a small shopping plaza with high end restaurants and a movie theatre. In the center of the plaza there is a massive sundial sculpture, thus the name. It is absolutely breath taking in the plaza when the lighting is just right outside at round 4-5pm.

5. The Murals

There is a lot of original artwork in downtown St. Pete, and it's actually known for having some beautiful murals scattered through the city. One of my favorite spots to take a photo is in a small alley way that has several different backdrops to choose from. You'll head west down Central Avenue, then make a right on 6th Street, and then a left in the first alley way (it is right behind The Hyppo). Along the left side of the alley, you'll see some original artwork that doubles as an Instagram backdrop.

6. The Dali Museum

Nothing really needs to be said, It's the Dali Museum!!! Its stunning on the outside and on the inside, of course. Every angle makes a good photo.

7. (Swah-Rey)

Simple and Cute. (Swah-Rey) is a trendy dessert bar that most popularly serves cake bits with a shot glass of milk. The interior is a sweet turquoise accented cafe style. The best part is you can enjoy some yummy cake while you snap your pics.
